Thanks everyone! Bucky is home again with his fosters today and will be healing for the next 2 weeks before we can bring him home to our house. I saw a little video of him running and playing today, only one day after surgery! He appears to be happy to be free of that miserable, painful appendage. We hope to see him this weekend. The vet said he’s officially adoptable this Sunday, but we have decided to let him stay with his foster family for the next 2 weeks because we work and won’t be able to care for him 24/7 during his recovery. He is in very good and loving hands for now.
I will keep you posted. Thanks so much for all the interest and support. I will keep you posted!
You’re kind of lucky, in a way, that you don’t have to struggle through the recovery period with him. At the same time, I think that going through this with my boy has brought us even closer. Though it is a STRUGGLE some days…
Bucky, we are all cheering you on! You are going to be a Pawsome Tripawd. But remember, slow and steady wins the race. Don’t be in too much of rush, and don’t forget to let the humans dote on you. 🙂
I just checked out your blog and it’s so cute! I want to learn how to type, show a picture, type some more. Your butcheyhudson is a cutie and your narration is spot on! Thanks for sharing!
Yay Bucky. Way to go. You will do great as a Tripawd. 🙂 Just try not to over do it. That will slow down your healing.
Hugs

I know I’m lucky! This way, I get to be the rescuer and only good times shall follow. 🙂
